Welcome to our Summer 2011 Interns

  • Jacqueline Cromleigh - Jacqueline is a summer Public Relations intern at VOICES of Conservative Women.  Jacqueline, a sophomore at Butler University, is originally from Ohio.  She is majoring in Integrated Communication (PR and Advertising), with a minor in Business (Marketing).  She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta fraternity serving as the Vice-President of Membership. 
  • Mary Crookston -  Mary  is an intern for the summer of 2011. Graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA with a Bachelor of Arts in English to her name, she aims to use her writing skills to advocate for fiscal conservatism. Now residing in Tampa, FL she is a member of Idlewild Baptist Church and a teacher in the infant Sunday school department.
  • Jana Rahn –   Jana is a Public Relations and Research intern for VOICES of Conservative Women. Jana is a student at Iowa State University majoring in Marketing. She will be graduating in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Also, she is a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority and has been a committee member for the Iowa State Blood Drive for almost two years.  Jana is living in Minnesota this summer. 

We will have great things to share from them this summer.  They are working on issue research, public relations, marketing, public policy, blogging and much, much more. 

Internships and Job Bank

Are you interested in helping Conservative Women make our voices heard?

Become a VOICES of Conservative Women intern, gain valuable experience, and help support candidates in 2011 and 2012  from the local to state legislative Level. Gain experience in public relations, advocacy, issue education, policy research and supporter development. VOICES of Conservative Women is a growing organization and will offer valuable experience for any future endeavors.

VOICES of Conservative Women (VOICES) has two (2) internship openings (Public Relations and Research). Tasks may include research, writing, candidate research, advocacy, community outreach, and numerous other things.

Because of the crucial role interns play in our organization, we ask that applicants be a self-starter and have excellent communication skills. Good judgment and an ability to maintain confidentiality are a must.  Knowledge of the internet, social networks/new media and Microsoft Word is required. Experience with the Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred. Education: Enrolled part-time or full-time in college or recent graduate. (VOICES will work with you to provide college credit if offered by your University.)

Positions are available for Winter, Spring and Summer Internships. Applications are currently being accepted on a rolling basis until the internships are filled.

The VOICE of Conservative Women Job Bank connects trainees and experienced political professionals with campaigns and organizations across the country. Our Training Department provides support and information to Job Bank participants to help them find jobs that capitalize on their talents.
