WAUWATOSA, WISCONSIN – VOICES PAC Wisconsin, an affiliate of VOICES of Conservative Women, is now accepting endorsement applications from conservative women running for office in 2014. Candidates for spring and fall elections in Wisconsin that agree with our core values: fiscal responsibility, limited government and free market principles, are encouraged to complete and submit an endorsement application available on the VOICES website. Candidates are encouraged to fill out their applications by March 15, 2014.
“VOICES PAC Wisconsin is dedicated to increasing the number of common sense, pocketbook women in elected office across the state of Wisconsin,” said Vicky Ostry, State Director of VOICES PAC Wisconsin. “The life experiences and policy perspectives that women bring to elected office are important. Our state will reap the benefits of having more women’s perspectives in Wisconsin’s State Capitol as well as on our county boards, school boards and city councils. We look forward to providing our endorsed candidates with coaching and training, a very dedicated group of volunteers, as well as a boost in their fundraising where appropriate.”
VOICES of Conservative Women State PAC (VOICESPAC) was founded in 2009 in Minnesota, and has a track record of successfully elected common sense pocketbook women to state and local office. VOICESPAC expanded into Wisconsin in late-2013, with their first endorsement of Jessie Rodriguez for Wisconsin’s 21st Assembly District. The race saw Rodriguez winning a five-way Republican primary in October, and then going on to a decisive win in the general election in November.
“VOICES of Conservative Women has a proven track record of supporting fiscally conservative women that are running for office,” said State Representative Jessie Rodriguez (R-Franklin). “I am honored to have had their endorsement and support of my candidacy. I encourage other women running for office to seek the support of VOICES PAC Wisconsin.”
Candidates seeking endorsement from VOICESPAC Wisconsin can be running for office in most state or local elections. VOICES PAC Wisconsin cannot screen endorse judicial candidates. VOICES PAC Wisconsin reviews and rates candidates for state and local races who request our endorsement.
VOICES of Conservative Women (VOICES) and VOICES PAC Wisconsin were formed to help train and support the next generation of women leaders and/or candidates at all levels of government who support fiscal responsibility, limited government, and free market principles. In addition, we work to educate the general public on fiscal responsibility, the need to elect leaders who support those ideals and encourage more women to become involved in public policy. VOICESPAC and VOICES PAC Wisconsin’s political fund stands with and elects female leaders who support our ideals.
