Princeton, Minnesota – VOICES of Conservative Women (VOICESPAC) announces their endorsement and support of MN State Representative Sondra Erickson (15A).

“VOICES of Conservative Women endorses MN State Representative Sondra Erickson.  Sondra serves on the following committees; Education Policy (Minority Lead), Education Finance and Property and Local Tax Division.  Education policy and financing is a complex issue and is critical to the long term future of our State.  Accomplishing meaningful education reform will require individuals willing to have honest conversations on how best to help ALL children achieve in addition to having a depth of knowledge paired with the desire to see real, robust education reform.

In the Pioneer Press, she co-authored an opinion piece on September 16, 2014 regarding education reform.  Sondra outlined her desire to see real, robust education reform that will help close the achievement gap and bring fairness for ALL children in education funding. In the article she said the following;

Status quo is not acceptable for children who are falling behind their peers and our children deserve better than another legislative season of “status quo”.  Nothing changes unless we are willing to look at real reform so that ALL children can succeed.  Sondra’s experience has been and will continue to be an asset for ALL children all across the State,” said Jennifer DeJournett, President of VOICES of Conservative Women.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of VOICESPAC, representing women across our state and nation who believe in conservative principles. Together we can make a difference by making our voices heard to support excellence in education, individual responsibility, free market and fiscal responsibility, all of which help women succeed every day,” said MN State Representative Sondra Erickson (15A).

Sondra has shown that you make a difference when you are willing to roll-up your sleeves and get to work.   She has made a difference and we are confident that she will continue to work to help ALL children achieve to their highest academic potential.  We look forward to a gavel in Sondra’s hands so that she can begin the work of moving us towards real reform that will provide real opportunity for ALL children to achieve.  Individuals can help support Sondra’s re-election by donating and volunteering for her campaign, concluded DeJournett.

VOICES PAC will be continue to endorse candidates throughout the 2014 election year.
